W.F. Ballew Dies Of Accident Injuries

William Fred Ballew, 63, of 105 Galveston, died here Sunday afternoon. Ballew had been suffering from injuries received May 26 when he was struck by an automobile while he was crossing Scott at the Wichita Valley Railroad.

A resident of Wichita Falls for the last 40 years, Ballew was in the produce business here. He was born Nov. 2, 1887.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Southside Baptist Church at 2:30 p. m. with the Rev. Erwin Reed, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Riverside with Hampton-Vaughn-Merkle Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers will be George D Keith, Jr., Frank Heath, Roy Mullins, W.E. Huey, Jesse Brown and Roy Brannon.

Ballew is survived by one son, William Ballew, Wichita Falls; four brothers, James Ballew, Lawton, Okla.; J. C. Ballew, Mangum, Okla.; S. R. Ballew, Caddo, Okla., and O. A. Ballew, Sabinal, Texas.
