Services for Mrs. Myrtis Nancy Phelan, 85, of Memphis mother-in-law of two former Childress residents, were held at 3 p.m. Friday in the First United Methodist Church of Memphis.
Officiant was Rev. Tommy Nelson, pastor, and burial was in Fairview Cemetery at Memphis.
Mrs. Phelan, a native of Grayson County, died Wednesday in an Amarillo hospital.
She is survived by a son, Frank Phelan Jr., and a daughter Mrs. Carl Allmond, both of Clarendon, and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Phelan Jr., the former Wanda Johnson, and Allmond are former Childress residents.
