Louis [sic – Lewis] Lake, an old and respected citizen of this place, died on Monday of last week, after a short illness of brain fever. His funeral took place on the Wednesday following from the M.E. church, conducted by Rev. F. A. Eller, and his remains were interred in Bethlehem cemetery two miles east of this place.
