Paul Doak Foster, 94, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, February6, 2013. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO. 64055. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Centerview Cemetery, Centerview, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairmount United Methodist Church.

Paul was born October 31, 1918 in Warrensburg, MO the son of Audie Frank and Myra N. (Doak) Foster. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Paul retired as an electrician from the IBEW Local # 124. He was a member of the Fairmount United Methodist Church.

Paul enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Foster of 73 years; daughters, Linda Sinnett, Betty Megerson and husband Jim, Janet Vornold, and DeAnn Bohon and husband Gary; son, Larry Foster and wife Judy; twelve grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Audine Salmons, Venita Starr, Barbara Eberting; and additional nieces, nephews, and family.

Paul was preceded in death by son-in-laws, Les Sinnett and Bill Vornold; and his parents.

You will be missed so much dad. Wished we had one more time to take you fishing.

His grandson Mike Foster preached his funeral at the cemetery.
