Wilbert G. 'Wib' Harford, age 85, of Marietta, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. He was born January 15, 1925 in Monongahela City, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Harford was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp. serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was retired from Westinghouse as a Field Service Engineer with 41 years of service. Mr. Harford was a World War II historian. He is survived by his wife Patricia Harford of Marietta, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Patti Harford of Mobile AL, Mike and Karen Harford of Marietta, GA; daughter Judy Martin of Mobile AL; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Mr. Harford will be cremated. There will be a memorial service at a later date and an inurnment will take place at Pine Crest Memorial Park, Mobile, AL at a later date.
