TRAVELERS REST, SC - Mary Etta Cash Medlin, 85, of 630 White Horse Road Ext., wife of the late James R. Medlin Sr., died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003.
Born in Habersham County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Leila Sloan Cash. Mrs. Medlin was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her 10 children, Carolyn Cooke, Janet Gilbert, Joe Medlin and Fred Medlin, all of Travelers Rest, Hazel Ricker and Linda Wood, both of Taylors, Helene Kibblehouse of Fountain Inn, Debra Coleman of Greer, Robert Medlin of Campobello and Ted Medlin of Ocala, Fla.; a brother, Hubert Cash, of Marietta; 28 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three daughters; and six sons.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock, Thursday afternoon, in The Howze Mortuary Chapel, with burial to follow at Grand View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends, Thursday afternoon, from 2 to 3 p.m., at The Howze Mortuary.
The family will be at the home.
The Howze Mortuary, Funeral Directors, Travelers Rest, is in charge of arrangements.
