Myrna Marie Lewis , Daughter of the late Ray and Christine (Whitney) Hall, was born on March 29, 1938 in Talco Texas in Franklin County,
and departed this life on December 2, 1999 at her home in MT. Grove , Missouri following a long and courageous battle with cancer, She was 61 years, 8 months, and 3 days of age.
Myrna grew up in Talco and graduated from Talco High School in 1956. She married Harold Horton on July 14, 1956, and four children were born to this union. They reared their family in MT. Pleasant, Texas and Tyler , Texas. Mr. Horton preceded he in death on May 6, 1987.
Myrna married Charles Joseph Lewis on February 25, 1990 in Tyler, Texas. They moved to MT. Grove, Missouri with her daughter and her children in 1991 where they operated the Cedar Hill Farm Bed and Breakfast north of MT, Grove until her health began to fail.
Myrna converted at a young age, and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in MT,. Grove at the time of her passing. She enjoyed gospel music, and she looked forward to worshiping with her church family each Sunday. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother,sister, aunt, and friend.
