Charlie Otis Fulller, 88, of Rte. 6, Irwinton Road, died yesterday in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Y. Z. Gordy will officiate and burial will be in Ft. Valley. Pallbearers will be Clarence Gibson, Russell Hedgepeth, J. W. Rowe, Edward Batchelor, Steve Ladson and Elmer Kitchens. Mr. Fuller was a native of Meriwether County, the son of Charlie Fuller and Mrs. Lizzie Buchanan Fuller, and had lived in Macon most of his life. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Allie Johnson, Macon four daughters, Mrs. R. E. Davidson, Mrs. Paul Thompson and Mrs. C. F. Whitehead, all of Macon, and Mrs. Herman R. Helton, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons, Clifford Fuller and Asa W. Fuller, both of Macon; 17 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ludie Smaw of California and several nieces and nephews.
