Born in Orangeburg County, he was a son of the late Otis Clay and Rossie Garrick Williams. He was a logger.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs Dorothy Williams; sons, Donald Ray Williams of Orangeburg and Kavin Williams of Cordova; daughters, Lisa Williams of Gaston and Samantha Williams of Orangeburg; and brothers, Olin W. Williams of Springfield, John M. Williams of Lake City, William O. Tindall and Lynn Williams of Canton, N.C, and Harry S. Williams of Pargould, Ark.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Thompson Funeral Home, Orangeburg, with burial in Willow Swamp Baptist Church cemetery.
