William Frear Dies of Paralytic Stroke
William Frear, aged 79 years, died at 1:30 o'clock this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Herbert G. Wilson, 314 East Buffalo Street. Mr. Frear suffered a stroke of paralysis last Friday. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Wilson, a grandson, Donald W. Frear, and two brothers, Alexander of Ithaca and Walter of Oakland, Cal. The funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The Rev. J.A. MacIntosh will officiate. Interment will be in the City Cemetery.
Mr. Frear was a well known business man. He had lived here all his life. He formerly conducted a candy store where the Osborn store now is located, and for years was given the candy privilege on the county fair grounds. He also had conducted the photograph gallery late owned by Charles H. Howes.
