Ralph, formerly of Tilden, died at Lakeland Care Center, Effingham at the age of 86 years.

His obit notes that funeral services were held at the King Funeral Home in Tilden, with Rev. Dennis Hamilton officiating. Burial was in Tilden Cemetery.

On 2 Jun 1920 Ralph married Mary Fern Aitken at Belleville to Mary Aitken. Ralph and Mary had the following children: Marguerite Loraine, Fern Irene, William Aitken, Roy Lynn, Dwight Charles, and Lee Alvin.

Mary precceded Ralph in death. Also preceding Ralph in death was one daughter, two sisters, and two brothers.

Ralph's obit lists the following survivors: four sons, Dwight, Lee, William, and Roy; one daughter, Marguerite; one sister, Mrs. Olive Dickey; 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
