She was married to Abraham Strickland in 1868 and in 1870 and 1880 they lived in Pierce County and by 1900 they were in Ware County ; then later they moved to Charlton County near Race Pond area where Abe had passed , later Appie moved back to Ware County and lived with her daughter and son-in-law Julius and Nancy Wilson until she passed and was buried next to her husband in the Race Pond Cemetery in Charlton County, Ga.
