JERSEYVILLE, Ill. - Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Sumrall for Dorothy J. Evans Herring, 80, of Jerseyville, Ill., who died Jan. 6, 2010, in Jerseyville.
Burial is in Bethel Baptist Church in Sumrall.
Mrs. Herring was a homemaker and waitress.
Survivors include a son, Charles Walter Herring Jr. of Beaumont, Texas; two daughters, Jacqueline "Jackie" Slater of Grafton, Ill., and Margaret Kern of Nampa, Idaho; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walter Herring Sr., and parents, Thomas and Dovie Morris Evans.
Visitation is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
