Last rites will be held Friday at 4 p.m. from Baker Funeral chapel for Ernest Eldon Anderson, who died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday at his home at 1320 St. Andrew street after a long period of ill heath.
The Rev. Claude O'Neall, pastor of the Waelder Baptist church, will conduct the services with burial to follow in the Gonzales Memorial cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was born September 1, 1879, in Gonzales county, the son of James and Alma Alexander Anderson, natives of the state of Kentucky and Indiana. He was married to the former Minnie Bennett and had been employed with the city of Gonzales. He was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Minnie)Luddecke of Cuero; Mrs. Jesse (Alma) Gietz, Seguin; three sons, Richmond Anderson, Seguin, and Woody and Oscar Anderson, this city.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Arzella Karm, Gonzales, and Mrs. Arvella Mudd, New Braunfels; and a brother, Louie Anderson, new Braunfels.
