Mr. Carr was born in Clark Mills, a son of the late Dr. William
and Ann Kinder Carr and, except for 10 years, spent in Massachusetts, spent his life in Walesville, where he was a member of the Episcopal Church.
He was a wood carver by occupation.
Besides his wife, who was Theresa Knuth, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Newman and Miss Hazel Carr, and two sons, Lewis B. and William A. Carr. Rome Daily Sentinel, Tuesday Evening, September 3, 1940
