Mrs. Ethel D. Royals, 86, died Sunday morning (December 9, 2012) at the Baptist Village Retirement Communities following a long illness.

She native Ware County and had lived most of her life here. She was retired from House Keeping Department at Baptist Village and was a member of Gilchrist Park Church of God of Prophecy.

She was a daughter of the late Henry Davis and Allie Belle Lairsey Davis. She was married to the late Clayton Royals.

Mrs. Royals is survived by a daughter, Betty Jo Sumerlin (husband Mack) of Nashville, GA; a son, Layton Royals of Waycross; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother, Cecil Davis of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (December 11, 2012) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Kettle Creek Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 5 until 7 o'clock.
