MRS. GRANGER DIES AT 85
MOSHERVILLE - Mrs. Agnes E. Granger, 85, of 6665 Wolf Lake Road, rte. 1, jackson, died Tuesday afternoon in Foote Hospital, Jackson. She had lived most of her life in the Mosherville area, and was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church, Jonesville.
She was born in Waterloo, July 15, 1887, the daughter of Andrew J. and Ruth Louise Caswell Smith.
On Aug. 23, 1905, she married Leland L. Granger. He died in 1946.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Alfred H. (Lois) Hawley of Jackson and Mrs. Paul (Louise) Chamberlain of Bradenton, Fla.; three sons, Robert L. Granger of Jonesville, Lester W. of Opp, Ala., and Irving A. of Jackson; one sister, Mrs. Bennett (Ellen) Burnet of Mosherville; one brother, Robert L. Smith of Bradenton; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Friday afternoon at 3 in the Beebe Funeral Home, Jonesville.
The Rev. Wesley Perschbacher will officiate and burial will be in the Mosherville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home any time after 7 p.m. Thursday.
