Viola Zetter was born May 21, 1913 on the homestead of Andrew M. & Helga Cecilia Zetter near Sheyenne, ND in Rock Township. She attended schools in Benson County before leaving for Portland, Oregon & later to San Francisco & Los Angeles, California. She was active in merchandising & real estate trading. Her first married name was Barbara Eyck. Her second husband, Loomis Johnson, died in 1974.
