Raoul Rene Daniel Cline was the son of Henry Benjamin Cline of Gettysburg, PA and Josephine Bougeard of France who married in New Orleans, Louisiana on 4 Jun 1859.
Raoul's siblings were Ella (Scheese), Henry Ben, Mary, Corine A and Gustave W.
Raoul married Henrietta Anna Kauffman of Galveston 1 Jun 1897.
Prior to that he had attended college and attained degrees in Pennsylvania, France and Texas. He was both a lawyer and a pharmacist and was the "founding father" of the school of pharmacy for the University of Texas. He also earned an MD degree in 1909 from the University of Texas Medical School.
He had one daughter, Henrietta Anno Cline who married Claud Prentiss Mann. His only other child died in childbirth with his wife tragically on 22 Sep 1902.
He raised "Anno" alone and died of a cerebral hemorrhage.
