"Mrs S.E. Allison dead; funeral Monday
Mrs Mattie Odessa Allison 69 wife of Silas Edward died yesterday afternoon at the home 833 S Oak, she suffered from diabetes and had been in failing health five years.
Mattie Odessa Drum was born June 2, 1871 in Princeton daughter of George and Mary (Sampson) Drum. She lived all her life in Franklin CO with the exception of 15 years in Sedgwick Co. She taught school in Richmond neighborhood several years.
A sister Mrs Sam Wilson Seattle, Wash. died Tuesday.
Mr & Mrs Allison were married at Princeton September 16, 1895. The husband, a son Royden Earl Allison of Phoenix, Ariz., who will arrive tomorrow and two grandchildren Robert Milton and Patricia Dee Allison survive.
Funeral is to be held at the Lamb Funeral Home Monday morning at 11 o'clock. with Rev W.A. Elliott of the First Baptist Church. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery"
