OBITUARY:
DEATH OF S. B. JONES
At the age of 73 S. B. Jones died of heart failure at his home in Emporia Sunday morning at 9 o'clock. He apparently was in good health and just returned from the next door and
stepped into his own home when he was stricken. He fell into the arms of his son and expired immediately. He came with his family to Emporia 20 years ago and established a broom factory in which he had since been engaged. His wife and six children, all men and women, survive him. But one of them, Mrs. M. S. Whildin, lives in Emporia. The deceased
was a consistent member of the Friends church. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Hinshaw and interment made in Cottonwood Cemetery.
