Dossey Mack Billingsley, age 74, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly of Monroe County, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010, at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born in Monroe County, KY on July 6, 1935 to the late Fred Mason Billinglsey and Pernie Evalina Bartley Billingsley. He was married to Bethinea "Beth" Pearl Presslor Billingsley. He was an Army veteran and a retired supervisor for Glass Container and Borden.
He is survived by his wife Bethinea "Beth" Pearl Presslor Billingsley of Indianapolis, IN, two sons: Dwayne and Dwight Billingsley both of Indianapolis, IN, four brothers: George Billinsgley of Tompkinsville, KY, Loyse James, Fred Louis and Guy Eagle Billingsley all of Indianapolis, IN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Evelena Ruth Billingsley, and two brothers Kenneth Lee and Charles Wendell Billingsley.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 16, at 11:00 AM at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Military Rites will be conducted at the grave side by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Burial will be in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
