Buell, Vada J., 94, of Springfield, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in the Glaesner Health Center at Oakwood Village. She was born March 7, 1915 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, adopted daughter of John and Florence (Wolfe) Kepsay. From cradle roll to 1955 her church home was St. Paul United Methodist Church, then she transferred to Lagonda United Methodist Church. She taught Sunday School in the Junior Department and enjoyed singing in the choir. She became a member of the Assembly of God in the 1970's. She was employed at the Y.W.C.A. for many years and retired in 1980. Survivors include two sons and spouses, John and Jeannine Buell of Phoenix, Arizona and Robin and Ruth Ann Buell of Springfield, four grandchildren and spouses, Mark and Lori Buell of Flagstaff, Arizona, David and Michelle Buell of Mesa, Arizona, Sheri and Dana Horsley of St. Paris, Ohio and Terry and Darla Buell of Fayetteville, Georgia and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Iliff Valentine. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
