Moved to Carson County in 1907 and attended Panhandle schools. Guy entered electrical business at the age of 18 years. He moved his business to Borger, Texas during the oil boom of 1924-1928. Guy moved his family to Fort Worth during World War II. He worked with Consolidated Aircraft building B-24s. HIs wife, Gracia Adele Stringer Walters was a niece of Young County pioneer Alex Stringer. Alex Stringer established a residence in Fox Hollow, Palo Pinto County, Texas in 1897. Gracia Adele Stringer Walters lived with Uncle Alex Stringer while she completed her high school education.
