In Loving Memory of Our Precious Little Angel Sherrell Dana Coolidge, 3, who was born Jan. 23, 2006, entered into the loving arms of Jesus on Jan. 11, 2010. Sherrell was loving, helpful and a very thankful child. She was very loved and we were blessed to have had her with us.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Dorothy Talk; paternal great-grandparents, Calvin and Pearl Coolidge and Dick N. and Sadie Yazzie.
Sherrell is survived by her parents, Randy Coolidge and Sandra Talk; sisters, Audreann and Celeste Coolidge; brothers, Rylan and Oden Coolidge; paternal grandparents, William and Doris Coolidge; maternal grandfather, Lewis Talk; great-maternal grandmother, Rose Talk, all of Shiprock.
Our Little Angel also is survived by paternal uncles and aunts, Wanda Coolidge (Roland Cantsee), Willard Coolidge (Fe), Nathaniel Coolidge, all of Shiprock, Wanona Theberge (Steven) of Upper Fruitland, Winifred Baker (Dexter) of Reno, Nev., Marvin Coolidge (Valerie Todacheenie) of Shiprock, and Devona Coolidge (Harrison Castillo) of Farmington; maternal uncles and aunts, Terry Talk (Glendora), Wallace Johnson (Amy), Marcy Dennison (Matthew), Fawn Talk (TJ), all of Shiprock. Sherrell is survived her cousins, Latoya and Josiah Teller, Serena Cantsee, Brandon Baker, Ayden Theberge, Tierny and Trinity Castillo, Damien McKenslie, Cameron and Kaniesha Phillips, Matthew, Chance, Skyler, Chamber, Tasheena and Tyra Johnson and Brian Talk.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at Diné Christian Center in Shiprock, with Evangelist Larry Howard officiating.
Sherrell will be laid to rest at the Shiprock Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Matthew Dennison, Terry Talk, Jared Henry, Lennie Harvey, Brandon Baker and Wallace Johnson.
We would like to thank the following: Dr. Glasser, Dr. Don Vassar, Dr. Jeff Powell and Dr. Bradley Rauher, Northern Navajo Medical Center Pediatric Nursing staff, Presbyterian Hospital, Phoenix St. Joseph Hospital and Houston Texas Children's Hospital and Ms. Keams, PreK teacher at Nizhoni Elementary School.
