OBITUARY--Kenneth L. Allen, 27 of 6936 East Thirteenth, died yesterday at St. Joseph hospital. He suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the head Wednesday night at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin H. Allen, Jr., 4619 East Thirty-eighth. Mr. Allen was born in Beulah, Mo., and had lived here 12 years. He was a laborer for the National Packing company. Mr. Allen was a member of the Christian church in Barnard, Mo. Also surviving are his wife, Mrs. Genevieve Allen of the home; two brothers, Larry D. Allen, 4619 East Thirty eighth, and Melvin R. Allen, Ft. Carson, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Pauline O'Farrell, 8631 Minnehaha, and Mrs. Bonnie Barling, Garden Grove, Calif. and the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin H. Allen, Sr., Wichita. Services will be held at 10 o'clock Monday at the Blackman chapel; burial in Mount Washington cemetery. Friends may call after 3 o'clock Sunday at the chapel.
