(Trilton Don Davis, 73, of Memphis. Services will be at 10 a.m. in Memphis Church of Christ with Tom Anderson
officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery by Hughs Funeral Home.

MEMPHIS - Trilton Don Davis, 73, died Sunday, April 9, 2006.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Memphis Church of Christ with Tom Anderson officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery by Hughs Funeral Home.
Mr. Davis was born Nov. 12, 1932, in Newlin to the late Trilton Tynus Davis and Faye Moore Davis.
Mr. Davis was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. He graduated from Estelline High School in 1951.
He married Monna Francis Burk on Dec. 27, 1950, in Memphis.
Mr. Davis farmed and worked on the railroad until 1954, when he became employed by Owens & Scott Grocery in Wellington. In 1960, Mr. Davis moved to Memphis and entered into the ownership of a new grocery store, where he remained in business until his death.
Mr. Davis was active in the community of Memphis by serving as a director for the Memphis Chamber of Commerce,
the Donley County Water District and Memphis State Bank. He was a member of the Lions Club. Mr. Davis also served as a past director of Affiliated Foods of Amarillo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Trilton and Faye Davis; and a nephew, Bennett Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Monna, of Memphis; two children, Rhonda Colson and husband Darrell of Wellington and Randy Davis and wife Kindra of Memphis; a brother, Ben Davis and wife Jeannette of Hammon, Okla.; a sister, Joye Jouett and husband Gene of Estelline; six grandchildren, Lonnie Colson of Hanover Park, Ill., Shonda Weise and husband Chris of Baytown, Ryan Colson and wife Cassie of Amarillo and Sandy, Hailey and Macy Dais of Memphis; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Owen Weise of Baytown.
Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be to Fairview Cemetery Association or the American Cancer Society.
