Leo William North, Ex-Mechanic, Dies
Funeral services for Leo William North, 64, of 133 Dearborn St, S. E., who died Friday at his residence, were held yesterday at the Kirkwood Methodist Church. Burial was in East View Cemetery.
A native of Columbia City, Ind., Mr. North was for a number of years an Atlanta musician, playing the violin, in theater orchestras. He had also been a band leader in several local theaters prior to the time of talking pictures.
Following the success of cinema talkies, Mr. North became a mechanic and had been employed by the Atlanta Stove Works and the United Motors Company. Surviving are his widow, and an aunt, Mrs. Jennie Brahm, of Columbia City, Ind.
