Mrs. William M. Barber,
Resident Here 50 Years

Mrs. William M. Barber, 78, a Washington resident for more than 50 years, died yesterday at her home, 209 Adams street, N.E. after a long illness. Her husband who died in the 1920's, was an ice and coal dealer here.
Mrs. Barber, the former Margaret Jennings, was born in Front Royal, Va., and taught school there before she came to Washington. Survivors are two sons, Paul J. and Orville C. Barber, and two daughters, Miss Dorothy J. Barber, all of the Washington and Mrs. Evelyn M. Randa, Arlington; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hutchinson, Redwood City, Calif., and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Lee's funeral home, Fourth street and Massachusetts avenue N.E. Burial will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Lee Funeral Home, 4th st. and Mass ave. n.e., where services will be held on Wednesday, October 8, at 11 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
