Dies From Injuries Suffered in Crash
Harry B. Williamson. 74, Rt 2., who was injured in an auto accident which claimed the lives of his wife and son, died about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kettering Hospital at Dayton.
He had been hospitalized since the accident Jan. 11 on SR 73 near Waynesville. His wife, Mabel, 62, and son, Paul A. Wiliamson, 24, were killed in the accident. The Williamson car was hit head on by a car driven by Thomas J. McCarthy, 30, of Waynesville.
He had been a farmer in the Belfast community all his life. He was the son of William A. Williamson and Lida Weaver Williamson and was born near Belfast. He was a member and an elder in the Belfast Presbyterian Church. There are no other close survivors. Several nieces, nephews and cousins survive. One brother, Weaver G. Williamson, preceded him in death.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Rhoades Edgington Funeral Home, with burial in the Coss Cemetery at Belfast. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4-9 p.m. Thursday.
