Mary Elizabeth (Post) Sader, 70, of Blue Hill died Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings. Services were held on Monday, October 29, 2001, at 2:00 p.m. at the Merten-Butler Mortuary Chapel in Blue Hill with Rev. Wanda Cassel officiating. Burial was held in the Blue Valley Cemetery near Ayr. Memorials to the family or the American Cancer Society. Merten-Butler Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.

Mary was born on December 18, 1930 to Glenn and Hazel (Fleming) Post at Cowles. She graduated from Cowles High School in 1948. She married Melvin Sader on July 3, 1949 at Red Cloud. They lived in Lincoln until 1965 when they moved to Hastings and started their own business. They moved to Blue Hill in 1988. She was dedicated to her family and her Christian Walk. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and painting. She is survived by her husband Melvin of Blue Hill; two sons Rod of Austin, Texas and George of Caldwell, Idaho; two daughters Kathy Sader of Blue Hill and Carol Sanchez of Holstein; three sisters Dorothy Stroble of Yuma, Arizona, Allison Wilson of Newton, Kansas, and Margaret Biddlecomb, of Placerville, California; one brother James Post of Hot Springs, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Donald Post of Lincoln and two sisters Darlene Puskarov of Kingman, Arizona, and Ester Peterson of Laguna Hills, California.

Pallbearers were Stephen Sanchez, Jessi Johnson, Leslie Foster, Stephen Behr, Kevin Pulver, and Lyndall. Music was "Go Rest High On The Mountain" by Lyndall Turner.
