MRS. CORA M. GREEN
Mrs. Cora M. Green, 95, of the Gnaden Huetten Convalescent Center, Lehighton, formerly of Little Gap, died Saturday in Gnaden Huetten Hospital, Lehighton. She was the widow of Eugene O. Green.

She was past chaplain of the Little Gap Grange.

Born in Kresgeville, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Berger) Hawk.

She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Trachsville.

Surviving are a daughter Marguerite, wife of Harold Fisher of Slatington R. 2; three sons, Clark E. and Ellis G., both of Kunkletown, and Caleb W. of Palmerton R.2; 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the church. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the T. K. Thomas Funeral Home, 145 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, and 1 p.m. Wednesday in the church.

(Note: Cora's date of birth in the church baptismal records is 11 November 1887 but the birth date on her tombstone in Jerusalem Church cemetery, Trachsville, is 11 November 1886.)
