Fred Loomis Gustin
Succumbs at Nampa

CALDWELL — Services for Fred Loomis Gustin, 74, of Caldwell, route 3, who died Saturday night in a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at Peckham-Dakan chapel Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Raymond Kratzer of Nampa will officiate and interment will be at Canyon Hill.
Mr. Gustin was born March 16, 1880, in Ringgold county, Iowa. He was married March 12, 1902, in Knowlton, Iowa to Louie Anna Bean and the couple farmed at Knowlton for six years. They lived at Fort Pierre, S. D., and in eastern Montana before moving to Nampa in 1926. They came to Caldwell in 1934. Mrs. Gustin died July 25, 1952.
He is survived by one son, Wade Gustin of Nampa; two brothers, C. E. Gustin of Creston, Iowa, and E. L. Gustin of Des Moines; one sister, Mrs. Blanche Laughead of St. Paul, Minn., and three grandchildren.
