Born Aug. 28, 1925, in Lyda, Texas, son of the late John Julius and Bera Alaxander Eitel, he was an Army veteran of World War II, a Mason and a retired dairy farmer.
Survivors are two sons, Royce Eitel of Vilonia and Jeff Eitel of Texarkana, Texas; a daughter, Mary Lou Habegger of Defiance, Ohio; a sister, Sarah Kuban of Linden, Texas; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cypress Valley Cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Wooley officiating.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Belmont Chapel Church in Vilonia.
