Bill was born Jan 1, 1927 in Olney, Texas. He was born into a very poor family. He became a boxer at a young age. While he was still 17 he lied about his age so he could join the Navy to fight in WWII. He was always a very strong good looking man. He married Joyce Weldon on Oct. 8, 1950. They had the strongest love I have ever seen. Bill was always very funny and loved to joke around with the nurses while he was sick. After Joyce died Bill never really felt like going on with life. Less than a year later Bill was hospitalized because of a knee surgery. Within two weeks Bill passed away to join his wife. He left 3 brothers, his son and daughter and 5 grandchildren. He died in Kingsland, Tx on September 14, 2007 and was buried in the Bulfton cementery in Blufton, Texas.
