Mrs. Augusta I. Pease died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. S. Way, on Palatka Heights at 2 o'clock yesterday morning, April 1st, the same being her 82nd birthday. Short funeral services were held at the house early in the afternoon by Rev. L. R. Lynn and the body was sent to Darien, Ga., for interment. Death was due to apoplexy. (Palatka News Obituary dtd Friday, 2 Apr 1909.)
