Merle T. Kibbe, 70, 300 Nixon St., Noblesville, died Sunday morning at Riverview Hospital. He was a retired contractor and fence builder.
Born in Parke County in 1904, Mr. Kibbe was the son of Elijah and Clara (Everhart) Kibbe. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ethel J. Kibbe; two sons, Jerry of Noblesville and Gale of Anderson; a daughter, Miss Mary E. Kibbe, at home.
Other survivors include a brother, Garrell of Brazil, Ind., and three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Akers of Gary, Mrs. Opal Stalker of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Mary Blair, also of Brazil.
