MRS. JESSIE POST DIED SATURDAY MORNING AT HER HOME ON MARSHALL STREET.
Mrs. Jessie Post, age 44 years, well known Greenville lady, died at her home on Marshall street at 11 o'clock Saturday morning, following a short illness.
Deceased was born May 16, 1882, at Red Banks, Miss., and came to Texas when she was eight years of age. Two years after they came to this state they settled in this city. In 1905 she was married to Will G. Post who preceded her in death some eight years.
She was a member of the Methodist church and has been very true to its teachings throughout her life.
She is survived by two children: William, aged 15, and Sarah Frances, 7; five sisters, Mrs. R.A. Nowell, of Logansport, La.; Mrs. M.E. Hindman, of Houston; Mrs. N. Nayde, of Denison; Mrs. Mildred James, of San Diego, California, and Mrs. Tom Wren, of this city.
No funeral arrangements had been made at a late hour Saturday, pending information from the sister in California.
