Kenneth Morrison, 94, Monrovia, passed away on January 7, 2010 at his residence. He was born on April 24, 1915 in Putnam County, Indiana and was the son of the late Jack and Essie Pearl [Duncan] Morrison.
He married Pauline E. [Alkire] Morrison on August 25, 1934 and she survives. He was a farmer, a member of the Morgan County Farm Bureau and a 1934 graduate of Cloverdale High School, where he was a member of the basketball team.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with Pastor Jerry Huber officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, January 15, 2010 from 12:00 PM [noon] to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Venice E. Morrison and wife Su Nell, Cloverdale, 3 grandchildren, Christina VanArsdale and husband Cecil, Greencastle, Laurina Hughes and husband David, Cloverdale and William Morrison and wife Sonya, Cloverdale, 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Kenzie Wayne Morrison.
