CPL US ARMY KOREA -- WARREN N. BREWER, 77, of Gainesville passed away on June 20, 2009 at his home.

He was born in Bud, West Virginia. He was a Bronze Star recipient of the Korean war, a Gainesville Public Utilities Inspector, and an avid RV enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Brewer; two daughters, Beverly (Roger) Lovely and Kara Brewer; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild; four sisters, Mary Lou (Byron) Parsell of Venice, FL, Garnet (Newton) Farley of Chesapeake, VA, Janet Thompson of Bastian, VA and Donna (Steve) Smith of Chesapeake, VA, and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009 from 6 to 8 PM at Countryside Baptist Church, 10926 NW 39th Avenue. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 23 at 10:00 AM at Countryside Baptist Church with Pastor Gene Keith, officiating. Burial will follow at the church's cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to E.T. York Hospice Care Center, 4200 NW 90th Blvd, Gainesville, 32606 OR The Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214 in his memory.
