Services for C.H. Clement were held in the Methodist Church in Baird. Interment was made in Ross Cemetery by the side of his wife, who died some years ago. C.H. Clement was born in Red River County, Texas and died in Baird, Texas. He was converted in childhood and joined the Methodist Church about 75 years ago. Brother Clement married Miss Matilda Rainbolt in August 1873. To this union nine children were born, seven survive him. Brother Clement loved Jesus and he loved the church and tried to be a faithful loyal member. Survived by Mrs. J.H. McKelvain, Mrs. J.M. Rogers, Marvin Clement, George Clement, Mrs. Joe Alexander, Ira Clement, Mrs. Annie L. Chesley; 42 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren.
