Thomas married Mary Ann Looney on 27 Jun 1889 in Oregon Co, MO. At least three children were born to this marriage.
Mary Ann Looney, daughter of Isham Jones Looney and Rachel Cerena Roach, was born ca 1873 and apparently died prior to 1900 as two of the children were living with Mary Ann's parents and one daughter, Cora, was living with her grandmother (Thomas' mother), Elizabeth Counts Reed Foster in 1900.
Their son, William, was living with his grandmother, Elizabeth, in 1910, next door to Isham Jones Looney. A fourth child is known but no record of birth or death known.
The children's father, William Thomas Reed, later married Mary Elizabeth McGehee, and four children were born to that family. Both Mary Ann and William Thomas Reed were buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Elm Store, Randolph Co, AR. Thomas and Mary Ann's children:
