VIRGINIA WEAVER
Services for Virginia Weaver will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Davis with the Rev. Clay Shannon officiating.
Virginia was born on Jan. 31, 1950, in Buckeye, Ariz., to the late W.A. and Francis (Jones) Babb. She died Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, in Sulphur at the age of 59. She and Louie Weaver were married in Gainesville, Texas, on Sept. 26, 1979.
Virginia was employed at the Breadbasket Restaurant in Davis, where she worked as a waitress. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Her greatest enjoyment was simply being with her family. She was always full of life. Virginia was the type of person that, just to be around her, brightened up one's day. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Davis.
Virginia is survived by her husband, Louie; two sons, Greg Weaver and Darren Weaver, both of Davis; four grandchildren, Jacob, Josh, Jordan and DaKota Weaver; three sisters, Carolyn Williams and husband, Dave, of Davis, Pat White and husband, Roger, of McLoud, and Gayla Palmer and husband, Scott, of Seminole, and five brothers, James Babb and wife, Carol, of Seminole, Dale Babb and wife, Norma, Gary Babb and wife, Kathy, and Marty Babb and wife, Janet, all of Ada, and Keith Babb and wife, Donna, of Springer.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bobby and Jerry Babb.
Services are entrusted to Hale's Funeral Home of Davis.
