Probably buried at Reed Cemetery on their farm which was located 1 1/2 miles from Trimble with William's parents David and Rachel Reed and other family members. They can not be located at Trimble. Sherry

However, the info putting them in Trimble Cemetery came from the cemetery books published by the Washington County Historical Society. Marigay

Excerpt from a Biographical sketch of Orange County, IN: William REED was born in 1779 In Pennsylvania, a son of David and Rachel REED, with whom he moved to Kentucky in about 1783, where he married his wife, who was born in the Blue Grass State in 1786. In 1811, he and his wife immigrated to Orange County, IN, which at that time was filled with Indians and wild animals, and building a log cabin began clearing and farming. In 1812, David REED and family also came to Orange County, and for a time lived at Maxwell's fort to escape Indian depredations. Additionally, BLM records show that William bought 3 parcels of 160 acres each at T2N, R1E Section 12 NE Quarter, 06/17/1811, 1/30/1812 and 5/26/1813 Northeast Twp, Orange Co., and David purchased 3 parcels of 160 acres each at T2N R1E Section 24 NE Quarter in 2/2/1812, 2/8/1812 & 1/19/1814. (Note: This is not same location as Reed Family Cemetery T2N R2E Section 12)
