"Funeral services for Elmer A. Curry, 64, who died Friday were held Sunday afternoon at the Turner chapel, conducted by Revs. J. F. Clark and Grady Herndon of Manatee.
Active pallbearers were J. J. Pelot, Herbert Carnes, Howard Collins, Lawrence Perry, Ralph Johnson and Hugh Fletcher. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. H. Gates, Dr. T. M. McDuffee, E. B. Johnson, Frank Cutolo, Sam Curry, Robert Glazier, Frank Parrish, Arthur Colson and Joe Gates. Burial was in Manasota cemetery."
