McGUFFEY - Services for Mrs. Sarah I. Dorman, 83, who died yesterday morning in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Freeda Allen, here, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the McGuffey Church of Christ. The Rev. Donald Hicks will officiate and burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Mrs. Dorman was a native of Logan County and was married to Samuel Dorman Jan 18, 1889. He died in 1928.
Besides Mrs. Allen surviving are three other daughters, Ilo, Bowling Green; Mrs. Elizabeth Sanders, Findlay, and Mrs. Mary Nagley, Stockbridge, Mich.; four sons, David Clyde and Samuel G., both of here; James L., Bowling Green, and Dewey, McGuffey; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The body has been removed from the Lantz Funeral Home, Ada, to the home of her son, David Clyde, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today. The body will be removed to the church at 1 p.m. Saturday to remain for services.
