Adam Apple departed this life last Monday, September 23, 1878, at 5 o'clock. Father Apple was born in Union Co, PA, on the 24th of November, 1799. He was married twice, his last wife now living. By his first union, he became the father of twelve children, and by the second union the father of six children, making in all eighteen. The deceased was one of the first settlers of St Paris in 1831 he came here.
