Obituary:
At one o'clock this afternoon occurred the death of Mrs. Nellie Baker, at her home in North Manchester, after an illness of four months duration. The sad news was received here by Charles H. Baker, a brother(sic: should be brother-in-law) of the deceased. Death was due to cancer. Mrs. Baker has been very prominent in temperance circles throughout the county and has been one of the most active workers in the cause, at her home town.
The funeral arrangements have not as yet been made.
