DARLAND
Mr. Martin Darland, aged 74, a highly esteemed citizen of Bohon, died at his home Monday evening after a week's illness of euremic poisoning and complications. His funeral was held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at Bethel cemetery, with the Rev. W.D. Moore and the Rev. I.W. Rogers in charge of the services. Burial was in the Bethel cemetery. Mr. Darland had been a member of that church for many years. He leaves the following family: His widow, Mrs. Arvela Perkins Darland; Mr. John Darland, Springfield; Mr. Clarence Darland, Rockville, Ind.; Mr. Will Darland, Gravel Switch; Mr. Edgar Darland, Rose Hill; Mrs. Ben Burton, Rockville, Ind.; Mrs. J.A. Cleland, Seaville; Mrs. Dan Durr, Sharpsville; Mrs. Fred Durr, Mrs. Jesse Freeman, Bohon; Misses Bertha, Ethel and Bessie Darland, who live at home.
