BOOKER
Mr. Alvin (Barney) Booker--A native of Monroe County and a resident of Mobile for the last 60 years, died at a local hospital Thursday, July 20, 1967, at 5:30 a.m. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints, member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, an employee of Frisco Railroad from 1907 until retirement in 1953. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertie Bryant Booker, Mobile; one son, Alvin K. Booker, Mobile; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Roche-Brown Service Funeral Home Friday, July 21, 1967, at 4 p.m., with interment in Pinecrest Cemetery. Arrangements by Roche-Brown Service Funeral Home, 100 S. Belt Line Hwy.

Mr. Alvin (Barney) Booker--Funeral services for Mr. Booker were held from the Roche-Brown Service Funeral Home, Friday, July 21, 1967, at 4 p.m., with Brother Donald Lane and Brother Miller officiating. Interment was in Pinecrest Cemetery. Active pallbearers were George E. Parker, Lamar Gordon, Edgar Parker, Eizy Booker and Hollis Williams. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Anderew Henderson, L. C. Busbee, O. W. Emerson, A. T. Waites, Ed Sauls, John Darley, Tom Bonner, Hale Miller and George Phillips. Arrangements by Roche-Brown Service Funeral Home, 100 S. Belt Line Highway.
